CONDITIONS OF USE

 

Swanfieldboutique.com is the online shop for fashion boutique Swanfield On Tour (“Swanfield”, “we”, “us”). Swanfield talks directly to local designers and sells their designs on their behalf. Swanfield On Tour takes special care to make sure you purchase something genuine and direct from designers.

Please read through the following terms carefully before placing your order. By using this website and/or placing an order you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions set out below.

Once your order has been confirmed, we will not be able to make any changes.

 

ORDERS

 

All orders are subject to acceptance and availability.

Swanfield offers products for sale that are in stock and available for dispatch from our designer suppliers. Consequently you may be making an Advance Payment for item(s), which ensures that you receive this item in priority once designer has confirmed stock is available. Swanfield will only take Advance Payment for stock that has been scheduled for delivery by a designer/supplier. 

Please be aware that we may be unable to deliver selected Advance Payment merchandise due to production problems or quality check issues identified. In these circumstances we will notify you by email and refund the Advance Payment to your credit card within thirty days of being advised that merchandise has become unavailable.

If you have registered your email address for notification of the arrival of a specific product featured on our Site, we will attempt to notify you by email within 48 hours of the product becoming available on the Site. Please note that on occasion certain products that are in particularly high demand will sell out during this period.

Please note that items in your shopping basket are not reserved and may be purchased by other customers.

 

PAYMENT

 

Swanfieldboutique.com uses Paypal.

Swanfield trusts Paypal to be our third party merchant, to accept your payment and contact details securely. For details on the benefit of using Paypal, please visit the following link:

All credit/debit cardholders are subject to validation checks and authorisation by the card issuer and PayPal. If the issuer of your payment card refuses to, or does not for any reason, authorise payment then you will be notified of this immediately at the check-out stage. 

Swanfield boutique does not charge VAT. The total cost of the order is the price of the products ordered plus the delivery charge.

Further information for overseas customers

The actual price charged to overseas customers will be subject to the exchange rate applied by the customer's credit or debit card company. Customers outside the United Kingdom will also be liable for any import duty, quotas, permits, product restrictions and other local requirements. You are advised to check the latest applicable local requirements before placing an order. 

 

SHIPPING

 

UK

 

For our UK customers, your order can be shipped using the Royal Mail Recorded delivery service.

Orders are dispatched following the successful processing of your bank and address details. This process which ensures your safety and ours against Credit Card fraud, can take up to 48hrs after you have placed your order, but we will send you an email immediately notifying you that your order has been shipped.

An email will be sent to you which will include a unique tracking link enabling you to view the location of your order online via the Royal Mail website (www.royalmail.com) Unfortunately we cannot provide a specific delivery time. We would also like to add that any orders placed on Friday or over the weekend will not be shipped until Monday.

We are unable to redirect orders once items have been dispatched.

Please note that Royal Mail requires a signature upon delivery for the receipt of your order. If no one is in at your given shipping address, they will leave a note with full details on how to arrange re-delivery, collection from your local Post Office or collection from your local Sorting Office.

 

Mainland Europe

 

For our mainland Europe customers, your order will be shipped by Parcel Force.

Orders are dispatched following the successful processing of your bank and address details. This process which ensures your safety and ours against Credit Card fraud, can take up to 48hrs after you have placed your order, but we will send you an email immediately notifying you that your order has been shipped.

We are unable to redirect orders once items have been dispatched.

An email will be sent to you which will include a unique tracking link enabling you to view the location of your order online at the Parcel Force website, (www.parcelforce.com). Unfortunately we cannot provide a specific delivery time and please do allow 3-4 working days for delivery.

 

Outside Europe

 

Your order will be shipped by Royal Mail/Parcel Force recorded delivery.

This process which ensures your safety and ours against Credit Card fraud, can take up to 48hrs after you have placed your order, but we will send you an email immediately notifying you that your order has been shipped.

We are unable to redirect orders once items have been dispatched.

An email will be sent to you which will include a unique tracking link enabling you to view the location of your order online at the Parcel Force website, (www.parcelforce.com). Unfortunately we cannot provide a specific delivery time, however you can check an estimated time period on the Parcel Force website.

 

RETURNS AND EXCHANGES

 

Swanfieldboutique.com guarantees refund and exchanges you are not happy with. Just make sure you request your Returns Merchandise Authorization (RMA) email within seven days of receiving your order.

 

RECEIVING YOUR RMA

 

Email us at info@swanfieldboutique.co.uk with:

Subject heading as RETURN/EXCHANGE, ITEM CODE

Please state what you wished to return or exchange.

If you'd like to exchange an item because the fit isn't right, please state the replacement size or colour.

You will then receive an email confirming your rights to return, containing your RMA number which is valid for 14 days. You are required to post the return item within 14 days.

 

EXCHANGES

 

It's free to exchange items for a different size, based on stock availability. Shipping is free on the replacement item, but if you are based outside the EU you will need to pay duties and taxes on this.

Please note that we are only able to offer size exchanges. If you wish to exchange your item for an alternative style, we suggest that you return it for a store credit and purchase the new item separately.

 

RECEIVING A REFUND

 

Your refund will either be credited to the original purchaser's credit card or PayPal account and will exclude shipping costs (with the exception of faulty items).

If your order has been sent to a destination within the EU, all sales taxes will be refunded. Outside the EU, customs duties and sales taxes are non-refundable. However, you may be able to recover these by contacting your local customs bureau directly. As this may not be available for all countries, we recommend that you hire a customs broker if you wish to claim back duties on returned merchandise.

We will refund the amount as soon as the returned item is received in acceptable conditions. Please note card refunds may take up to 10 business days for your bank to complete, depending on their processing time. This can vary greatly between card issuers, and unfortunately we are unable to influence this.

 

OUR POLICY


Items should be returned new, unused, and with all designer garment tags still attached. Returns that are damaged, soiled or altered may not be accepted and may be sent back to the customer.

Where provided, belts and any designer packaging such as authenticity cards, dust bags and leather tags should be included with your return. All items returned should have a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. Unidentified returns may be returned to the sender.

 

SHOES

All shoes must be tried on a carpeted surface until you are certain you are keeping them. Shoes should be returned unmarked and in their original, undamaged shoe box as this is considered part of the product. Shoes that are returned without a box, in a damaged box or with marked soles may not be accepted, and may be sent back to the customer.

 

LINGERIE & SWIMWEAR

Briefs, swimming costumes and bikini bottoms should be tried on over underwear, without removing the protective adhesive strip. Returns may not be accepted if this strip has been removed or if items are soiled, and may be sent back to the customer.

 

FAULTY GOODS

Goods are classified as faulty if they are received damaged, or where a manufacturing fault occurs within six months of purchase. Please note that items that are damaged as a result of wear and tear are not considered to be faulty. Where possible, we will offer to repair faulty items. If you would like to exchange your item, please be aware that we can only replace it for the same product in the same size, subject to availability. You will receive a full refund if the item cannot be repaired or replaced.

 

COLORS

We have made every effort to display as accurately as possible the colors of our products that appear on Swanfield. However, as computer monitors vary, we cannot guarantee that your monitor's display of any color will be completely accurate.
